Essity, a global hygiene and health company, has announced the U.S. launch of its most skin-focused incontinence solution to date. Tena Sensitive Care Pads are now enhanced with Aloe and Vitamin E, combined with an upgraded 5-in-1 SkinComfort Formula. The full product range is designed to be up to 100% irritation-free, while Tena Sensitive Care Overnight, the highest absorbency pad in the range, has additional upgrades with a 20% drier surface and up to 100% leak-free protection.

For the millions of women living with incontinence across America, intimate skin can often be left feeling irritated, uncomfortable, or overlooked.

This launch is more than a product upgrade; it’s a reflection of Tena’s mission: to support women with personal care products that feel respectful and empowering at every stage of life. Tena’s updated ranqe combines breathable, soft and secure materials that transform a daily routine into a moment of reassurance, helping women move through their day without discomfort or self-doubt.

“In our consumer testing, we saw incredible results: nine out of 10 women said pads feel soft and gentle, keep their skin feeling dry and provide superior leakage protection,” says Hazel Villarreal, marketing director for Tena North America. “It’s a clear sign we’re headed in the right direction, creating solutions that deliver on performance and comfort. This is our most skin caring product yet, designed to support intimate skin.”

The 5-in-1 SkinComfort Formula combines five key features, with improvements based on direct consumer feedback:

  • Breathable: Allows air to flow, keeping skin cool and healthy.
  • Secure: Locks in liquid to help prevent leaks and protect clothing.
  • Dry: Dry Fast Core absorbs quickly to keep moisture away from skin.
  • Soft: Skin-friendly materials cushion and help prevent irritation.
  • Odor Control: Neutralizes unwanted odor for enhanced freshness.

Additional new features include:
  • Upgraded overnight performance for extended wear and protection.
  • Skin-friendly barrier that allows the pad to move with the body, minimizing wet friction and discomfort, especially during longer wear.
  • Infusion of Aloe and Vitamin E brings a soothing touch to an already advanced design, helping to nourish, protect, and support with every wear.

Tena Sensitive Care Pads are dermatologically approved by the Skin Health Alliance and are available in a range of absorbencies to support women through light leaks, heavier protection needs, or overnight use.

“This is more than a product, it’s a statement: women shouldn’t have to choose between protection and comfort, or feel the need to hide,” confirms Villarreal. “With Sensitive Care, Tena is redefining intimate care so women can feel protected, prioritized and proud.”

Tena Sensitive Care Pads with Aloe and Vitamin E are now available at mass retailers, grocery stores, pharmacies and online at https://shop.tena.us/.
